The Challenge
Choosing Bridgeport’s McLevy Square as the home for his newest venture, critically acclaimed chef Stephen Lewandowski, former executive chef of Drew Nieporent’s Myriad Restaurant Group and Tribeca Grill, launched Harlan Haus, a classic German Bier Halle in a historic bank building with a modern offering of food and drink.
Our Approach
DerGarde provided creative direction over the project which included the branding and visual identity, vendor contracting and materials sourcing to make the restaurant feel both authentic and unique. The landmark status of the building required board approval by a historic preservation commission.
DerGarde blended the right amount of German and American to create a fun and inviting experience.
