The Challenge
Located directly along a main thoroughfare in one of the most affluent towns in Connecticut, 1177 was immediately greeted with resistance from long-time local residents of this coastal enclave. Originally a brick office building and slated for complete redevelopment into small residential apartments, the developers needed to win trust of the public and ensure the project’s success.
Our Approach
DerGarde created an identity package for the property along with leasing tools and a website to market the new availabilities. We worked with the developers throughout the build to adapt visual styles to changes in interior finishes and prepare their team for pre-leasing.
We couldn’t be happier with the results and ongoing support we continue to receive.
